Hello, I friend of mine are traveling and there is the possibility of bringing a small banana or pup, what would be the best way to prepare it?.
I was thinking that the best would be chop the plant, roots and then wrap with wrapping plastic to prevent dehydration, you think its okay this way or its not necessary make this.
I apreciate your help.

By small, I assume you mean 3 or 4 ft. That isn't too big to put in car trunk, so Do NOT cut it unless you have to for some other reason. Just cover the roots with a little moist potting soil and wrap tight with a plastic bag.
I moved 42 nana plants last fall in my trunk. Some I had to cut back to 4 ft (they were 10 ft plants) and put 3 or 4 plants (same type) into black plastic trash bags to preserve moisture and protect the roots. All were pushing new leaves within 2 weeks of being replanted.

This is Info you should have stated to begin with. However, ... Private or Commercial and will US Customs be involved????
If Commercial then fully box the plant to keep it safe from being mutilated, smashed, stepped on, crushed, and Baggage Handlers.
Customs ... your own your own dude.

I have done this a few times from West Palm to Cvg.
If the plant fits in the luggage just roll it up in newspaper and tuck it in.
If it is longer than the luggage just cut the plant to luggage size wrap it up in newspaper and tuck it in.
Knocking the potting soil off is optional.
The plant is good for a couple of days.

It is not for commercial purposes, they are two small plants for me, I live in europe, I think I should not have problems with customs...
