Dwarf Cavendish....... Does a flag leaf always proceed before a bloom? I have a flag leaf or at least what I thought was a flag leaf? How long before I see the flower?

The flag leaf is on top right; the longest leaf.

Maybe its just a bad angle for the photo but it looks more like a deformed leaf. To me it looks like a leaf margin that oscillates wider and smaller along a full length midrib, which is pretty odd because all of the older leaves look normal.

When I first saw the leaf it looked just like the 3rd, bottom picture leaf.

I agree, that at least from that photo perspective it looks like a damaged (misinformed) regular leaf, not a flag leaf.
