I got this banana plant from an old neighbor about two years ago ( thread was banana plant no roots), but have yet to see it flower, nor did he have a name for it.

As you can see, from 1 plant with no roots, it has growing really well, and has pushed out a ton of pups. It exhibits no red on new or young leaves. Anyone have a guess on what time it might be?

Given the description, appearance, and fact that it is common, I'd guess Orinoco. But really, without seeing a flower or bunch, it's not possible to say for sure.

Thank you. Given the maturity of the mat at this point, I'd be surprised not to see a bloom soon. I'll post a pic when I have one.

Appears to be 'Orinoco', but could you show us some from further back, preferably one of the entire bunch and one of the entire plant.
