I may not post on here often. But I'm always on reading and enjoying pictures.
I have a newborn son. And if you have kids, it's just, Wow.....
You know what I mean.
I am very, open mined, and I tend question everything and want to know everything I can.
The more you know, though, the more you wonder if you're the crazy or everyone else is. lol
I follow Mike Adams, look him up ;).
I'm curious how the banana folks feel... Because aren't we all bananas?
They have a video series coming up, check it out.
but I'm still wondering what you think.

Well, I didn't hesitate to give my son the vaccines so we can eradicate diseases like Polio. I am for vaccines. My son is today 11 and fully vaccinated and healthy.

My wife was an Operating Room Supervisor for almost 40 years, and says to get your immunizations.
I had all of mine. I was 1 year too old for MMR; I got measles in college (1972). Which one? Dr., standing 10 feet from me, said there are 500 varieties and I caught one. When I was pregnant with DS in 1985 I was tested for Rubella antibodies and passed the test so maybe I had German Measles. Older sister and brother had mumps; I never did. (Younger siblings had vaccinations.) I did have a horrid recurring case of shingle for 10 years which makes sense because I had chicken pox as a nursing baby at 6 weeks or 6 months. It's been 20 years since I've had that issue--thank goodness. Yes, I ate polio sugar cubes as mandated by the government.
I'm glad I'm not a new mom now. In addition to having my son circumcised (he thanked me when he was a teenager so that potential guilt is gone) he received all recommended immunizations. At 31, he's beyond healthy. However a childhood friend of his apparently had a reaction to the polio vaccine, had a stroke and lost motor skills. Was it the shot or something else? I don't know but I do believe that immunizations are probably best.

I agree and all 4 of my kids are 100% vaccinated and healthy. I think there is more important health issues like making sure they learn to eat healthy and hopefully not have diabetes or heart issues. I know lots of the healthiest people with these but it's best to try.
Not saying I'm the healthiest eater. From TX I love my meat, potatoes(including plantains) and dessert(including bananas!)

Recently here in Hawaii we had an outbreak of Hepatitis A from uncooked scallops at 2 sushi restaurants. Hundreds got sick. Nearly 200 were hospitalized. Two died. All completely unnecessary as the vaccine has been around for 22 years! Most people have never gotten this vaccine unless they traveled to less developed countries.
As an epidemiologist, it pains me to think that so many people fall for conspiracy theories and have become anti-vaccine. With the HPV vaccine alone, for example, an estimated 50,000 girls alive today will be dead because their parents didn't vaccinate them. They will die of cervical cancer instead. One is far more likely to be injured or killed simply traveling to get any type of medical care or do anything outside the house than getting any of the approved vaccines.
This article sheds some light on the phenomenon of people insisting on their unsubstantiated belief over the expertise of those who spend their lives learning specific fields. Why Expertise Matters : 13.7: Cosmos And Culture : NPR (http://www.npr.org/sections/13.7/2017/04/07/522992390/why-expertise-matters?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=npr&utm_term=nprnews&utm_content=20170407)
I've got nothing against vaccines, well, most of them. I've got something about the poor quality of them these days... There's a lot of allergic reactions to hepatitis A vaccines. There's a few vaccines that, in my opinion, are just ridiculous and only a way for pharmaceutical companies to make money.

OUCH! ... had all of mine and the sugar cubes. ... Just how are you going to feel if your child dies of something YOU could have prevented $10 or $20 (may be free)?
