I am a long time lurker to the forum and have gained so much information from you all.
However in the UK I do struggle to source many banana varieties.
Does anyone on here sell to the UK?

Here is a thread which might help.
Various vendors are mentioned throughout the thread.

Unfortunately most of the shops in that thread are no longer in business :-(

It depends on what you are looking for. Do you have a list of varieties you are looking for?

Ensete ventricosum maurelli
Musella lasiocarpa
Musa basjoo
Musa dwarf cavendish
Musa sumatrana - possibly lost over winter?

Ensete Glaucum
Musa siam ruby - possibly lost over winter?
Musa sikkimensis
Musa paradisiace - possibly lost over winter?
Musa burmese blue,
Musa yunnanensis

Would love a tannee but funds simply do not allow

Well it looks like you have most varieties. You don't have Musa Chunii or Velutina var Markkunana ;-)

Its weird...so many times I have tried Velutina but I simply can not get it to germinate. I thought it was supposed to be the easiest one!

I'm new here and don't live in the UK, but on another plant-related site I learned that it is difficult and expensive (if not downright illegal) to mail certain plant material between countries - the fees and paperwork alone is prohibitive.
Maybe look for other banana fans in your own country and ask what their sources are.
I found one post here by a member ryanmarc in the UK.

Is there a members map for banana.org showing where in the world each of us is located?
Good luck finding plants to complete your collection.:goteam:

A member map would be fantasitc. I am sure there would be one on here but I can not find it :-(

Just click on 'Map' in the header above the forum. Zoom in or out as needed. With almost 3000 members, it is slow to load.
