I bought seeds of musa: yunnanensis, sikkemensis, thomsonii, helens hybrid and red tiger from rare palms. After my previous attempts resulting in failure I wasnt hopeful, but I soaked the seeds in 800ppm ga3 for a day and a half. Well 5 weeks later I have had between 25 - 100 percent germination with more popping up every day. Will upload pics but very happy.

yeah, I have not been hopeful either. 800 parts per million of ga3. thanks. sorry for the ignorance, but what is ga3?

GA3 = Gibberellic Acid = A potent hormone plant growth regulator. It is used to improve plant growth and yields.......

I have plans for the yunnanensis and thomsonii, so hoping they catch up.
