I know next to nothing about growing banana plants but...
the bananas are growing anyway. Here to learn more.
Gotta love a "know nuttin'" who's succeeding with musas and added their area/zone before their first post. Now post some pictures (so most of the noobs like me can oooh and ahhhh) so the experts can tell you what you've got and you're "in" fer sure.
Welcome
PS Pictures aren't required but sure appreciated!

My avatar photo (which I am still attempting to add) is not from my banana plant but is from a friends plant in the same city. If the plant will make fruit for her I am determined it will make fruit for me...(or else!!!).

You need to upload them to your gallery, and then use the HTML code provided when you click on said photo to C&P here, or wherever you want to add it.

welcome neighbor. upper left on this screen, hit photo gallery. upper right nest screen hit upload photos. nest screen hit browse to find your pic. underneath browse is a description box. below that is process. the next screen you can adjust your description and check your pics. if they ok hit process again. and they will be in. to get them on this screen, right click your mouse on your picture, hit copy. and on this screen hit the square box with the pyramid, then clear the script prompt box and right click again, hit paste, then ok and your in.

Thanks for the welcome and the advice. I have successfully uploaded 3 images (even though I tried for 5). Baby steps.
My neighbor around the corner wrapped his banana plant in warm cushioning to protect it from the winter weather and he was rewarded with fruit. There is hope that someday I will succeed.:goteam:

Thanks for that!!
I am new to bananas.org and new to growing bananas but have learned the ropes on a gardening site formerly known as "All Things Plants" but now known as "The National Gardening Association" aka garden.org. Providing zones is most important to receive accurate answers. :bananas_b
Oh, my name on garden.org is greene (without the 33). Here is my invitation link to anyone wishing to join NGA. http://garden.org/users/join/greene/
Okay. back to bananas...:2738:

This month I learned what it means when a banana plant is flagging. Each day I check my plants; so far no flagging, but at least now I know what I'm looking for.:goteam:

Your pics may be to large, make them smaller and they might load.
