Bananas.org has certainly grown!
I got a new job the first of the year and have hardly checked in for months. Think I shot Taylor a PM once or twice but other than that, been too busy. Now I see lots of new faces! Wow!
Anyway, if anyone should remember the banana that i had flower back last fall, we all figured it to be orinoco. Of course, the flowers started falling off when the temps started dipping so nothing ever came of it. We dug up the 2 big pups it had produced and they're doing fine, but I was kind of surprised to see the mother corm has thrown 2 more pups this spring. And it didn't have any kind of protection from the winter elements.
Those of you that I have traded with, everything is doing great! Thanks again. Kylie, I'm ashamed to admit it, but somehow I've mixed up the goldfinger with gran nain, so now I'm not completely sure which is which. Hate when I do that and hope to figure that out soon. ((BTW, use stick tags INSIDE your pots... not sticky tabs glued to pots :)
