Thanks and yes you do! There are a few grapefruits and some lemons that should be ready early next year. The greenhouse has been in the mid 60's F so not much to show. We want sun..LOL Currently a couple passion flowers that want to open out there.

yeah LOL I don't know how I'm going to get it back outside! And there are 3+ months before that takes place. This thing will be a monster and already it's far too big for the GH I only buy dwarf bananas now.

Hi all, The new leaf is slightly smaller then the last and didn't reach the ceiling. Could lack of water have played a part? when it wasn't growing.

Looks like a healthy new leaf to me. Only time I've seen shorter leafs is before a flower! You will know if it is a pre pre flag leaf with the next leaf. Keep us updated! Post a picture of the next leaf when it unrolls.

I'm just glad it's growing again, I'm sure it still has a bit of time to go. Richard mentioned it could be from lack of over head light.. I'll wait and see if the next leaf is any better, fingers crossed! I'll keep you guys updated.

Thanks!

It is showing signs of something, probably lack of water in the newest leaf. Looks like it deformed it a bit. Had to water the manzano heavy when I returned. It should bounce back. Thanks for looking!

Hey y'all haven't been on in a long time but as spring comes closer more of us come out of hiding lol. The manzano stopped growing in Dec- till a few days ago. I haven't measured the stem but it's tall. It's gotta be this year or not at all haha.

Early March 2018
Here it is today as the leaf comes up! Thanks for looking :)

Very cool thread and great updates on the progress of this Manzano. Back in post #22 was it planted in the ground? Maybe an optical illusion, but it looks like it is growing out of your swimming pool.

If you had it in the ground during the summer, did you have any difficulty re-potting for this winter?

Thanks Kanana, haha looks like it but it was in the same blue container. I some how dragged it out there. Will be using a dolly this year lol.

March 6-7
It was a challenge but she's all trimmed up for spring. The new leaf sorted it's self out and is now open. Even if I wanted to help that leaf I couldn't. As you can see it's running out of room. Might be able to push the pot back against the door giving it a total of 14 or 16 feet. How's that for a "house plant" in Canada LOL! unreal

A new leaf is on it's way up. I'm starting to watch for shorter leaves and or it bunching at the top, not gaining much height. I've read so many things on what to look out for.

The manzano suffered from a shift in the weather back in early May. Here it is today. I'm noticing that the leaves are no where near as big as say 4 or 5 months ago..What could be causing it. Maybe pot bound? https://farm1.staticflickr.com/834/43550821462_efa590e68c_c.jpg[/url]
