My first banana and I have to have a problem with it. I started growing a super dwarf musa last year and it did very well. the mother plant even produced a pup that caught up with it. Over winter I did have a problem with spider mites as I kept it in my kitchen window with my other plants. I started noticing that the leaves on the mother plant were not coming fully out and not fully opening. The other leaves then started to die. This then has started on the pup. I was wondering if I might have somehow gotten banana leaf bunch disease?

Mist it with some soapy water, spider mites are very hard on plants!

I've already sprayed for the mites using neem oil. Worked very well. the leaf problem started afterwards :)

Actually I've done it three times, plus hand washing the leaves with warm water. The symptoms that I am seeing are almost identical to BBL. :banana_pi
I've been gardening for over 40 years and this is new to me. And in the kitchen it gets full sun during the winter time and very bright light before it gets warm enough outside to put it out.
