I think most places have cooled off aside south FL haha
It has been so cold here for a week now - low 20's low teens. more single digit temps tonight and tomorrow:O I was expecting everything to be frosty this morning. When I went out to the GH surprisingly it was 37F and has gone up. I heard from someone bananas have more protection planted in the ground. I guess even in Zone 5 with really thin p-stems. I haven't watered in a few weeks, I'm sure that has helped? The basjoo has been still growing up till now. All the pics taken today Dec 14 Hope everyone is keeping warm!
Psang ceylon- I was expecting this to look worse because of being in the ground.

Umm, were not even close to having a bad winter out here on the West coast either. My in-ground, unprotected, bananas are looking fine, thanks lol. But to your point, yep in ground is normally going to take way longer to cool off, especially if you've had a mild fall.

Half way through February, does it look like it will make it? The last two top leaves are just now slowly dying back. It was a decent size corm that was planted maybe I'll get some pups? Having them in the ground and lasting this long is very new to me. Let me know what you think?
