I know this is re occuring, It's been years now. I see other people no problem posting pics. It's frusterating having pics all over. only happening to a select few and has nothing to do with picture size. Does anyone know how to solve this?

What device are you trying to upload from?

You know, I was just looking through your photo gallery (http://www.bananas.org/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=3715). You have several images that are quite large (for this site). By large, I mean well over a few hundred kB. For example, June_pictures_002 is 2645.4kb. I recommend you delete these and see if it opens up more upload space.

Thanks Richard, I've already deleted several albums containing 10- 15 pictures in each. I wish I had checked the size- it did nothing. I will delete those others and see if anything happens.

It worked but I had to delete almost all of my pictures

Hmm ... perhaps you could have deleted the large ones and then waited an hour ... giving the system time to recalculate your new allocation. These kind of computer systems do what they can immediately and then schedule tasks to be done in the background later on. Perhaps you've noticed that some online banks don't update immediately after you've made a transfer(?).

Glad it helped though :)

Fast question....Are you using Apple devices?

Posting from an iPhone or Android?

yes iPhone but uploaded to computer. The old photos were so large taken with digital cameras and nokia x7. I am able to take pictures on my old ipod no problem now.

Got you covered.....

Apple/ workaround.

Works across all Apple devices with iPhoto up to Yosemite .

1... Choose the pic which you want to post, send to your email using a REDUCED RESOLUTION/Resize. This is a prompted option in iPhoto.

Usually half size will work.

2.Move the new resized pic which you sent to your email, copy and park it on your desktop. click copy paste.

3. Go to B.org and follow the usual upload instructions....when prompted which photo file to use, you will now use the new resized pic which you had just parked on you desktop. click copy paste.

4. Done

5. Hassle, yes.

.
However, I have an Android phone and an Ip6.
A nice mix .

6. For Android.....I bluetooth the pics to any of my Apple devices and jump through the hoops to complete the upload.

7. And then there is Flicker.....which I use.

Or, get a windows computer, simply upload the resized pics and go out for a nice steak dinner with a small portion of the money you saved not buying an apple. :D

Alternately, use a website that resizes images for you (e.g., 720 x 540) and upload those.

Then get yourself a Google Pixel phone and use Google Fi phone service: you'll pay about $27/month for the same service you are currently paying $80/month on an Apple phone -- with better performance.

I had a feeling there was multiple steps :D Thanks for the help everyone as to resizing the pictures. I have had a iPhone 4s since 2013. It's recently been acting up and I will have to get a new phone this year. Never getting another apple phone. Richard I will check out that google phone. Recently I've been hearing good things about their products.

I will check out that google phone.

You have to get it through Google to obtain the inexpensive Google Fi phone service.
