No ... I have IBM/Microsoft type PC. But I do have a couple of cats that look like mac & cheese. One little guy is bob-tail.

OH ... I don't have any rats ... just possums. :waving:

I have 2 dishes like this. you can buy them at Walmart for 40 50 dollars. I made them from a water well air tank, they are deep dished however. I am going to use them this winter to keep the freeze off my bananas when the temp goes into the 20s. pretty much like they do for citrus.

Yeah, but is that a steel wheel rim underneath?

Sounds good. I am making a set of church bell chimes for a client, using 3/4 copper tubing. Always keep the projects flowing.

I used a port hole from a boat to make this one. hung shells for the pendulum. the clapper was cut from a 4 inch copper pipe and used wood for the center of it.http://www.bananas.org/gallery/watermark.php?file=61020&size=1

Post plans of your creations? At the least good descriptions of how to. I'm finding strange stuff to put in my yard and would love to make some stuff, too.

Me or him?

I have synesthesia, which means I see, hear, taste and feel words, as well as seeing time and space three dimensionally. It also allows me to build a project in my head and see exactly what it will look like, before I make it. I never need or use plans. I follow the photo in my head.

when I started building this one I found out real quick that a pair of pliers sounded better than a stick. your church bell chimes would sound good with 3/4, 1 and 1 1/4 pipes using 3 each for a total of 9 tubes. or instead of each tube being longer than the next one, make each tube 2 inches longer it will give you a wider range of sound. not telling you how to build your chime, I am sure you already now how your going to build it. just throwing out some crap.

I've found that adding to each tube by the same number works great. it could be 1", 3", 5" or 12"; as long as the dimensions remain the same, it stays in tune for some reason. Don't know why, but it sure works! :ha:

yes the one in the picture has 9 tubes each one inch longer than the next. my wifes sister saw it and wanted one so I made the tubes for her but I did 8 tubes each 2 inches longer than the next. I am working now on one using crow bars. but finding them exactly the same diameter and each one same length longer than the next is practically impossible. so I am going to have to settle and use my ears for the right chime. a friend gave me a grandfather clock with issues with the internal one of the gears inside. thought to make a wind chime out of that but my wife saw it and had to have it. it is in beautiful shape so I guess one day I will have to fix it.

My second cat named Mac, so I call him Mac 2. He's not PC though. :ha:Unfortunately, yesterday morning, my neighbor flagged me down and asked if this was my cat; pointing to her carport.

I no longer have a Mac. No sign of trauma, no leakage out of either end. Just early signs of rigor, but I buried him before he was too stiff to move. My favorite cat, too.

Thank you, Jeroen. I appreciate that more than you know.

He was a big 'un too. That toy truck was 20" long. He is very comfortable now though. I buried him in a mixture of sand, topsoil and ashes. I will still miss him, however.

They do that. My very first cat loved the BBQ. Well, she loved fire in general, which was kind of odd. She knew what a lighter was, and would literally have her nose next to whatever I was setting on fire. Then, she would sit in fascination and watch it burn.

She loved to lick the grill. Occasionally, she would lean on it to see what I was cooking, and shift paws because it was hot. "Ow, hot. Ow, hot too." She only made the mistake of licking a hot grill once. She walked around for the next three hours sticking her tongue out. "Why does my tongue feel so thick?"

I had another cat named Hooter, that used to love to lay inside the fireplace while it was burning. We're talking real fire here, not gas. She'd get in between the doors and the fire box, and go to sleep. Sometimes you could smell the singeing fur. IDK what it is about cats and fire, but they sure seem to love it! Hooter's original name was Hotfoot, because when she was 6 weeks old, she saw my bonfire in the backyard, and went charging headlong into it! She was okay, but singed the fur on her paws, hence the name of Hotfoot.

Cats are weird, but I love 'em!

I had the side lower on one of them. he would walk by and his tail would go over the fire, once I saw sparks on his tail. so I decided to raise the side up so he could not do that. then one day I was trying to keep him not walking so close to the pot and he showed me by rubbing up against it. he doesn't do that no more. he licked his side for a moment tho. I checked him out and he was fine, tips of the hair was singed.
