Congratulations Hmelendez, that's exciting! Do you know if mona lisa has persistent bracts, and how long did it take for the first bunch to mature from the day the first inflorescence opened?

That's a lot of bananas! Expert care maybe? I think so! Looks great Hector. Whatever you are doing, your plants love it. Keep it up!

Nice work! I'm envious. The fruit of this variety are really good, to my and my wife's tastes. But I can't grow FHIA-02 worth beans. Can't tell if it's my climate or the terrible spot I have it in.

If you don't already have it, you may find the pdf you can download from the following link helpful in separating the different FHIA varieties.

Using Cavendish as a baseline, which we all should since everyone knows what they taste like, what is the flavor like? How cold tolerant? How long of a cycle?
Yes, I could look most of that up, but since y'all are talking about them I got lazy...

The flavor is similar to Cavendish with a nice very little touch of tartness and better texture.

Totally agree with venturabananas on the flavor!....Up there as one of the best that the FHIA family line has to offer!.....
