Dosage is the key. In a pot, you need to be especially careful.

That's not advice I would give!
20-20-20 is not a balanced fertilizer -- it is raw minerals. You can definately burn plants with it. Most formulations include a lot of sulfur -- which can make your soil very acidic. Check the label.

I have used it in the past on Basjoos, Orinoco's, chinese yellow, and Maurelli Ensete's without a problem, so far my Raja Puri and Goldfinger seem to be doing fine, The Siam Ruby tois still too yound and my Saba is just starting out so I am waiting on those.

You can use 20-20-20 on most any plants, but again: dosage is key.

Dosage control is right. I use Peters 20-20-20 as follows---------------
Fill a 2 gal watering can and put 1 Tsp to a Tblsp of the stuff - only.
You now have a half dose or less - that is 10-10-10 or less. Much safer.

I apply the granuals right to the mulch and let the sprinklers do the rest

All bananas can take 20-20-20, sound like you just got a bit carried away. I usually use 24-something in the summer. Lawn fertilizer works good, just don't use weed and feed!
