I purchased 5 banana plants about 8 years ago from Stokes Tropicals. Two trunks of the same plant have bunches of fruit on them. Because they have been moved over the years, I am unable to identify which plant this is that is fruiting. It is around 14-16' tall, dark green leaves that are around 5-6' long and extremely upright and beautiful. The fruit is 7" long and is fatter than a Cavendish banana. The plants I purchased are Mysore, Goldfinger, Grand Nain, Williams Hybrid and Ice Cream. I also got unidentified plants from friends, so it could be something other than these 5 I got from Stokes. Attached are pictures (first pic is of the actual plant; second is the first bunch of fruit; third pic is the just flowered new bunch of fruit and the last is the first ripe banana off the first bunch). The fruit is delicious and did not need propping up.

If someone could help me identify this plant, I would appreciate it.

Thank you.
Kathleen
