Any other context or information? They look like 'Brazilian' from those photos.

I bought the plant as dwarf Brazilian but the plants were 11 foot plus and needed a ladder to get them. I began to assume tall Brazilian or monzano since I am confused between the 2.

This is the plant I have from them.https://scontent.ftpa1-2.fna.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/fr/cp0/e15/q65/14138636_1687244521599326_8850260394881109219_o.jpg?efg=eyJpIjoi dCJ9

Might be what it was obtained as, Dwarf Brazilian -- they can get 11' or taller, but tend to be shorter. Looks like it has the dwarf morphology in the photo you posted. Did you notice if the rachis was "messy" before you cut it off the bunch you showed, i.e., retained bracts and males flowers clinging to it? If so, that would be strong support that it is DB.

I just took these photos from the guy I got them from on his Facebook. I sadly did not get close or gather data when I was there. I have another plant similar I need an is also that I have no data for that came from a 50 year old mat

Without any more information, my money is on Dwarf Brazilian.

If anything when it fruits I now know the marker to look for. My official dwarf brazilian is only a foot tall.

In my happiest, wettest mat I've certainly had some near that size. I thought those in the pics above looked like skinny Brazilians but mine also have a lot of variation in fruit size based on factors such as water, closeness to other thirsty plants, age and number of pseudostems in the mat, etc. If they're being sold as Dwarf, then it's a good guess. My shortest Talls have been about 11'.

It looks like mine. The fruit size is hard to determine from the pics, though. Brazilians that aren't grown in Hawaii are typically quite small. I don't know if I have short fruiting tall or clean rachis dwarf, but Gabe said they are Brazilians and I have found no reason to doubt that. (Other than flowering at the height of a dwarf yet having the clean rachis of a tall.)
My original TC fruited at about 8 feet, and it's first pup did at 9, but the rachis is pretty much clean. There is a little clutter at first, but after 4-6 bracts it goes all clean.

Sputinc, if the rachis is clean then it isn't the classic Dwarf Brazilian, which should look like this:

On the other hand, 8-9 is REALLY short for regular Brazilian.
The shortest regular Brazilian I've had was around 10' and the tallest Dwarf Brazilian 11'.

Mine do not look like that. Here is mine. The flower bracts fall off, and other than the first 4-5, so does everything else. I have pics on my comp of this later when the rachis below this was clean, just not uploaded... See here:

My dwarf orinocos average around 9 feet. The plants I got my pup from seem much larger. Never needed a ladder to get a dwarf orinocos fruit. His plants were much larger. Information seems vague on the differences.

I was just given some plants that are supposed to be Dwarf Brazilian... actually, the guy told me they are "Apple Bananas" but they're only about 6 feet tops.
He sent me these pics of the fruit, but none of the flowers.
These look quite different... fruit-wise

Banana-na - Doo Dooo Do-do-doo
Banana-na - Do-do-do-do-dooo
... So, how does that tune go? :D
Maybe they meant Manzano. I have no idea what the plant looks like... Doesn't really look much like the fruit...

Here's how it goes, but substitute Animals line for Banana-na :-)
Warning* Watch at your own risk. You'll start to hear that song everytime someone says a 5 syllable word or phrase... Like "ya never know" :-)

And I'll get a pic of the plants tomorrow if we're not rained out.
