My banana tree is about 15 ft. tall and the fruit started forming over 2 mo. ago. The fruit is only 2-3 in. tall and only has 3 rows of fruit. The temp. has been in the 90's, 60's at night. Is there still time for the fruit to get bigger? A newer stalk started producing 2 weeks ago with the same results. This is my first post, thanks for your help:bananas_b

First of all, welcome to bananas.org.

Usually it takes an average of 6 month or more here in Southern California for a fruit bunch to fill in and ripen if it has been watered and fertilized well.
Do you know what variety you are growing? Some are known to be quicker to fill in and ripen while others take longer. I had a summer Namwah bunch ripen in about 4 month while a winter bunch of Blue Java took 11 month.

Welcome, and what he said...
11 months!! REALLY? I thought 5 months was a long time with my Brazilian... I hear Veinte Cohol get R dun in 2 months or so...
Make sure it's getting plenty of fertilizer, especially potassium, to fill in with.

That might be normal depending on the variety you are growing.
