This is a great idea Keith! Shipping corms with growing roots should give anyone who orders a head start. Perfect if you live in a cooler climate like me. Also might be easier if you are new to bananas. I like it!

Sent you several PMs too.

Thanks for the note. I'm happy to hear your Patupi and her two pups were delivered today, hopefully all traveled well.

It would be great if you and anyone else receiving plants this way could post how quickly their plants produce leaves, THANKS.

The Patupi I bought from you wasn't the rectangle but it did have roots and is doing great. It's too dark for me to go outside and take current pics, but here's what I've got on my computer. I'll show the SH-3640 that I got from you without roots also for comparison.

Patupi received July 7th:

Patupi with 5 leaves and pushing out a 6th, August 6th.

About 6 weeks ago PR posted a Highgate corm for sale and said the same thing, send your zip code in a PM.
7 minutes after he posted it I sent my zip code as well as my entire address in a PM. I even PMed again a week and a half later pointing out I was certainly the first and had sent the PM, and have still received no response. (This is not the first or even the second time I have tried to do business with him.)
SO... I think it has a lot to do with who you are with PR. I would love to do business with him, and have attempted to several times but all I get is ignored and I don't even know why. Don't expect a reply unless he likes you, I guess.

PS.. Up to now I have been nothing but nice to Keith, even sending him a text when someone posted on here that he ripped them off so he could respond.

PR has been very accommodating with me and I honor his repeated attempts to teach me about bananas. I have a number of his plants that have sprouted leaves within 1 day. He has fulfilled my every request in the plants I have asked for. If I were to receive a message as above, I may not respond to it as well. Keith owns a farm growing bananas and his time is spent on the bananas, however, he does eventually respond to his pms. Your patience in receiving a response from him will soon be rewarded.

I just deleted several posts who appear to have too much time on their hands as well as a poor sense of judgement.

This is a for sale thread, not a discussion thread for folks to trash someone they may have some issues with. If you've had a transaction with Keith that worked out well or not, there is a feedback system here. Use it. If you have some problems getting in touch with Keith, it's okay to post that here but just one post, not carrying on a discussion about it. I have a very busy schedule and if you want to test my patience I'll make it clear up front that it is not very great.

I don't have too much time on my hands. Rather, I find too much B.S. on this site from a singular source.

Not to pile on, but when a seller says, "Sorry, but we don't ship to that ZIP CODE" Which I actually didn't even provide a zip.Translation: I don't care to do business with you. No worries.

If you translated "Sorry, but we don't ship to that ZIP CODE" to "I don't care to do business with you",

that probably explains why you had so much trouble translating "Please pm zip code".

PS.. Up to now I have been nothing but nice to Keith, even sending him a text when someone posted on here that he ripped them off so he could respond.

That was an unfortunate situation for the buyer, he was having problems with another seller on the Org and for whatever reason got his seller confused with me. If they had dealt with me originally none those problems would ever had occurred.

Thanks for pointing out the importance of buying from a reputable seller.

These offers are for first time buyers like yourself and have nothing "to do with who you are".

An established customer would simply text the order in and it would get processed the same day.

When I open PM's I start at the top which are the most recent. So if you were first as you believe, then you were actually on the bottom. The top PM was from a moderator (first time buyer) who purchased the Highgate corm. After the sale I posted this message so others would know it was sold.

I'd like to express my gratitude for making this transaction quick and easy. It was great only needing to write one private message, wish all could be this simple.

Included with the DGM are a free Tigua and Patupi, Good Luck

I ship out many variegated bananas every week and sometimes don't have the time to ship some of the other cultivars.

Selling multiple cultivars on a single thread seems to have confused some members so

This offer is now closed.

Let me get this straight, and please, anyone who wishes can straighten me out on this... You are telling me.... If you are the first one to respond to a posted item for sale, you won't get it because, as you have stated, you need to be the last one so your PM will be the first you read? Nobody on Earth (With the obvious exception of you) does business that way... I'm sorry, but that just doesn't wash.

You sell to whoever you want to sell to and screw with whoever you want to screw with. It's OK, it is your business who you sell to and who you screw with. Please just be honest enough to admit that is what you are doing.
You simply won't be doing it with me anymore, that's all.

I am not angry, somewhat upset and mostly confused... I sincerely wish I could have done actual business with you because I would love to have a variegated banana as well as a Highgate corm. Someone else will have one, and I will get that. Problem solved.

Have a nice day.

I believe it is fair for everyone and most of the PM's come from members that have never posted or just joined, plus not everyone is online at the same time. This way seems more fair and it's simply easier to start at the top and work down.

Maybe one day when you are not impressing everyone so much with your incredible banana growing abilities (in the Caribbean). **Yikes!!! How does he do it?????** You can enlighten me with your advanced command of the english language.

BTW, if you were honest, you would also mention your original post stated nothing regarding "PM ZIP"

It's all good Caribbean banana wizard, I think your true "professionalism" has been exposed by many of the included posts.

This quote was copied from the original post, just click on the blue arrow and it will automatically take you there.

It wasn't that difficult to read the post and send your zip code.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the US Post Office does not care about zip codes in regards to priority mail. If I am wrong and it does matter, the buyer can pay any difference in shipping costs. Thus I'm confused as to why it matters to the seller where his product lands.
