Hey all, I've read on Robs taste Reports (which I really appreciate) where he mentions how he'd "Rank" the fruit.
How would everyone "Rank" their bananas? First, based on Fruit Taste and second based on the plant
I suppose you could also rank them based on How they fruit or how the fruit grow or ripen etc. but if we could just keep it (for now) to how the fruit taste (cooked or "out of hand") and rank the plants overall. I know some plants seem to blow over easily, some take forever to pup or fruit, some get REALLY tall, some are subject to pests or disease or choking etc.
As a Newbie banana grower, Hearing everyones opinions on how they'd rank their bananas ( current or past) would really be helpful.
I wanted to learn as much as I could before getting any, but am now up to 10 different varieties :-) Some I may eventually get rid of and I know there are some that I think I'd Like to get (Pisang Klotek for one as it sounds delicious).
Hope everyone, or many of you "veteran" growers post your lists.
TIA
