Hello there!:03:
Just joined the forum. Ready to discuss bananas with you folks. I've marked my location on the map. I see I am the first in Bartlesville, though I do know of several other places locally where bananas are grown.
Currently I'm only growing musa basjoo. But I look forward to learning of other varieties I could attempt to grow here from the forum.

I had to join because I exceeded the number of threads i could view until I became a member. So I suppose it was time!

Same here. I put off joining for a while cuz I hate all the junk email most places send out, but after not being able to see the answer I was looking for several times, I took the plunge.

No thanks! Just very pleased with the quality of this site and its members. :bananas_bThat's a very valid point. I used to be an admin on a huge gun site, and the owner was more concerned about sitting on his @$$ and selling banners to companies for advertising, than anything else. You don't have that here. There is no "commercial feel" to this site; it's professional yet friendly. Hard to come by these days. That's why I'm on here so much, even though bananas aren't my main thing. I enjoy welcoming new members and lending some advice where I can.

True, there isn't the constant petty arguing here that you see other places.
A HUGE shout out of thanks to the Admin here...This site can't be cheap to operate, yet no ads... nice! Spam is kept to a minimum as well. Usually posted and removed in less than a day, sometimes under an hour.. That is thanks to mods... kudos to them as well.(And all of us who report it at first sight.)
All these guys hear is complaints and problems all day, every day, so I thought we should give them all a thanks.

I bought VBulletin back in 2011 for an undercover assignment and never used it ($500 down the drain), so perhaps it could be used for additional space? IDK. I'm stuck with something I cannot use and no idea of how to use it anyway!

Glad my thread could inspire some more ideas. I love this place. I hope to learn where to get more nanners!

Once you get a few of them in the ground, you'll be getting more nanners than you know what to do with!
