Ok guys looking on where to plant my bananas and i am wanting to put a couple by the pool. My concern is that when the pool guy does the back wash on the pump is the chlorine water going to kill the bananas, He does that every other month.

Is there any way to get him to run the water elsewhere? Many people grow their bananas near the pool for the extra warmth in winter months.

I have a large area behind the pool of which has all my landscaping which includes my 2 dwarf gran nains. The rock garden also in the pool area behind the pump is a very large area and I was thinking about putting 2 bananas in there. This is where the pool guy does his thing. Just trying to make use of the space, I really don't like the rock garden it's as big as the lebgth of my pool. I guess I will have to talk to him.
Thanks

If it's that big of an area, shouldn't there be enough space for both?
I dumped concentrated bleach water on the clover in my driveway and it didn't hurt it. Pool water is nowhere near as strong. maybe do an online search for bananas and chlorine.
