I bought some banans off Craig's List. I got a good deal I think. I got a number of plants for $20. The owner said they get small green fruit. He also said, they didn't taste that good. I wonder if he harvested them to soon. Here's some pictures.

I know you probally need a picture of the flower before you can judge. I will take some more picture of the plants.

Orinoco? It's always a good guess.

Mine are pretty much all green. On the underside of the midrib they have a pink tint and when they are small they seem to have a pink line around the leaf, but that seems to have mostly gone away when it gets larger. There is no verigation on the leafs even when small.

That's a good observation Fernie. It doesn't seem to have any red. Here's an small Orinoco I had last year.

My orinoco doesn't have a good leaf on it right now. Maybe in a couple of weeks I can get a good picture of one.

The first and the second don't look like orinoco to me. I have no idea what they might be.
