Hi,

I'm just writing a banana book in German language, it will be the first banana book in German, one book about growing hardy bananas and dwarf bananas in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and other German speaking areas for outdoors, wintergardens, houses, greenhouses and containers. The book title is in German language: Bananen in Mitteleuropa - Anleitung für erfolgreichen Bananenanbau (Bananas in Central Europe - How to grow bananas successfully),

I'm looking for pictures, the minimum size of every image file must be 5 or 6 MB and of the high picture quality. I will use the pictures for my book.

I'm looking for pictures of:

Overlook of one cutten pseudotrunk (diameter, petioles, anatomy of the pseudotrunk)
Mother plant with sucker
Banana corm/rhizome/roots
Musa basjoo - flower and fruits
Musa cheesmani

Could you help me to obtain these images for my book with permission for using the pictures for my book?

Please email me, if you do have suitable images for my book, and add the image files (JPEG, GIF).

Much thanks in advance!

With the best wishes
Joachim

Hi!

Best thanks for all of the pics which I did get! Now is my manuscript of my book ready and completed!! I completed it yesterday! :bananas_b Now I will give the manuscript to three people in Germany (one biologist and another book author who is also just writiing a book about one hardy palm species for Germany) and Austria (banana expert and banana nurseryman) to against-read, check and correct. When they are ready, then I will improve it and send it to a publishing house.

Honestly said, it was a hard job, but it was important for the German speaking area.

Best wishes
Joachim
