I thought you may like to see some pictures of my Acuminata Monkey Fingers.
The pup is showing a nice red streak on the main rib whereas the parent plant never did. It reminds me of Franks Indian form.

Nice!
Try and upload pics in the gallery though, instead of using the post attachment feature.
Hope you don't take the suggestion the wrong way, but it makes them searchable so people can find your pictures when they type the keyword into the gallery's search engine. It also lets people browse all the pictures you've shared with us. Using the attach feature that way somewhat lets the pictures get lost in space as the threads get buried.

Very nice as usual Mark, your garden must be the size of the Great Park with all those musa's you keep :p

I wish Alan. I am always on the look out for ones I don't have and I don't stop to think about the space they take up for over wintering:mad:
I am waiting on a few more from Thailand but it seems parcel force have lost them:mad::mad::mad:
From Thailand to the UK was 4 days a couple of days being held by DEFRA and over two weeks being lost by good old Parcel force and I still haven't clapped eyes on them.

That is not nice, i dread the thought of delays in customs etc, at least you have a chance of corms coping but horrendous with live plants :( hope they finally turn up ok

My siam Ruby's took 20 days in total from the states, but they're in the ICU and I'm sure they'll be fine.
My M. Gracilis corms from thailand never turned up though, stitch up b.s,*d had to put a paypal claim in:mad:

Kev, How long ago were the Gracilis sent? It could be DEFRA have them and are waiting to inspect them and then you will get a letter in the post asking you to contact them asking wheres your Phyto ????
Are they the Gracilis that we talked about in another thread and said they looked nothing like Gracilis/Leytes White ?

hi mark
maybe. but this sellers feedback has fallen apart recently.
I am registered with DEFRA so they would probably phone or e me. yes, it was those ones we were both watching
BTW, make room in your garden. my TC man is making positive noises about my Ingens, might be a while yet but best start clearing a spot now.:0495:

Nice pictures, Mark. How hardy of a banana is it I wonder?

Dean, I doubt very much that it would survive a UK winter. If I get enough pups I may try one just to see.
Kev, I will need to stand my polytunnel on its end to fit in a Ingens.
Are they being TCd in the UK ?.
I looked for a lab and couldn't find one. The one I was using closed down.

Yes, in the UK. I did look into TC labs in India which were cheap and plentiful, but the communications were just too difficult. I can't bear waiting for a week for a reply to an e mail, it just doesn't bode well for later in the process.
If you want contact details, just let me know and I'll PM you.
