I'll be in Tampa sunday. If anyone wants the remainder of my cavendish I'll bring them. Otherwise they go to the waste pile in the woods.

Why don't you put them around the base of your plant? They make wonderful, potassium rich fertilizer.
BTW, If Tampa wasn't all the way across the state, I would take some. My wife complains about the time I spend on here as it is, much less a 6 hour round trip to get some bananas.

I dump unwanted plants at this spot in the forest and passers by often collect them up. They won't last a day there.

I thought you meant bananas, not plants. My DUH

Ohh I see that interpretation. Cavendish are pup factories. Before I got on this forum the walmart cavendish is all I had. I liked it but they freeze to the ground. We moved out here to the swamps and I was going to plant them and make a banana forest. I came to this forum and one visit to a banana grower and him donating a bunch of varieties I now have zero need for the masses of cavendish plants I produced. I'm only keeping one plant just because and the rest gotta go. Making room for the expansion of my banana forest this sunday.
