Hello
how hardy are W.filifera and Chamaerops humilis seedlings ?

It depends on the duration of the freeze and if they are planted in the ground or in a pot. (hardier in the ground -takes longer to cool)
They can take a few degrees below freezing but not for very long. I wouldn't let the plants fall below 25F.

Hi Lodewijk, dont let the seedlings outside in a dutch winter! it's too wet and too cold with no warm temperature spells in winter.
when they start to get splitling leaves the chamaerops will survive -6 and the washingtonia -5. palmseedligns are the most sensitive when they start to split their leaves in real palm leaves.
