I was wondering if anyone has a pup of a big Alocasia like the one I grew in France. Here are a couple of pics.

Sorry to those who cannot see the pics , if you look in members galleries under Steve in France they should be the first two images of Alocasia.

Thanks

Are you sure they're alocasia? They look a whole lot like Xanthosoma to me.....

Alocasia for sure, sorry I do not have outdoor pics with more erect growth but in just like an Alocasia Mac but with purple stems. It got to about 8 ft tall before flowering. I gave the Mother plant to Andrew in Holland and I hope he still has it . I gave Bamboo Mark in the UK one but he killed it. I originally got my plant from Simon of Amulree Exotics (Turn it Tropical) in the UK . It had come as a mislabelled plant to Simon and I was very new to Exotic plants so had no idea of a name for it, nor did Simon or Paul Spracklin who was with me that day could put a name to it. I grow Xanthoma's so I know for sure it's not one, I wish I could grow a Xanthoma that big in France , perhaps here in the US I can :-)
Thanks

Looks good Randy , I just PM'ed you before I saw these, like I say whatever you have. I'll keep some pups back from my new stuff for you too.

Hi encore guys , Lari Ann says it's a Alocasia odora 'azurea' , so there is an ID. Now getting one is another problem :-)
I'll do my best to find one.
