It's wonderful to finally sign up here with this great forum. SInce I have a 50 acre farm in NW Panama, in addition to my yard in South Florida, I hope that I can make some concrete contributions to this forum as I am blessed with a just about perfect tropical climate for growing tropical fruiting plants/trees of all kinds!

You can learn more about me and my Panama rainforest project by cvisiting my two informational, non-commercial websites:

http:The Wise Gardener (http://www.thewisegardener.com) and The Trees, Plants, & Animals Are Celebrating TropicRiverWoods In Panama!! (http://www.tropicriverwoods.com)

Again, it's great to be here

Wow Rocky, that's great! I wonder if you have access to any Green Sapote (Pouteria viridis) seeds?

It's good to be here, everyone! I just am still having trouble "getting back on track" after that semi tractor-trailer hit me at 50 MPH in Sept.! I was in coma on and off for a couple of days, and wasn't breathing at all when the paramedics put a ventilator in my throat! Scarey stuff...but I here!

Love your seedlings Xavier! Great amount of seeds sprouted! You're doing things VERY successfully! CONGRATS!

Welcome palmdoctor looking forward to hearing more from you!
It's always nice to hear a post from the real tropics.

Paula NJ keep them warm and don't be like me. Have some patience. I've had Brahea(mexican fan) and Chamerops(European fan) take 6 months. Now if I want one I just splurge. anything more than 3 months gets me crazy. Good luck.
