In a large blender:
1 ripe full size Babaco (12")
2 ripe dessert bananas (5" x 1" each)
2 scoops french vanilla ice cream
4 oz unfiltered apple juice
4 oz crushed ice

Your babaco is starting to put up new leaves finally.
What kind of fertilizer do I need?

Use what you are feeding your palms or edible bananas.

It is seedless relative of the papaya. The flesh is less dense than a papaya and has less sugar. A good name for it is "pineapple papaya". There is more information in this thread: http://www.bananas.org/f8/babaco-3825.html#post30678

Thanks Richard. I put it in a new bay window that I am building for the winter. together with my new potted bananas. I fertilized it with
