I was thinking that, since there are members in all parts of the world, and some converse in the metric system, and others in the U.S. system, it might be helpfull to have some conversion tables somewhere. What I'm thinking of is Fahrenheit/Celsius, litres/quarts, etc. I had thought that maybe we could have a sticky, somewhere (or on all, or most, of the forums). When I Googled this, I realize that this could be pages and pages, and some of the sites that I got were ©, and said, "Do not copy.", I think we could reduce it to the items that are important to banana/plant growers. I would be willing to make some condensed charts, for review.

Under the "Search" tab next to Quick Links, you'll find a couple of conversion calculators. Otherwise, you can ask Google to convert it for you. For example if you type into the Google search field
convert 3 meters to yards
you get
3 meters = 3.2808399 yards.
Or perhaps more useful:
convert 14000 foot pounds to Joules
yields
14 000 foot pounds = 18 981.4513 joules

Thanks Richard, I was about to post the same about the "search" option above, but didn't knowthat about google! That'll come handy when on other sites!

I didn't realize we had this. I wish it also had meters/feet (for plant sizes, etc.) and centimeters/inches (for pot dimensions, and fruit sizes).

Perhaps Jarred would be willing to ad that on next time he updates that section of the website!

I usually use google. For example you can enter "30c=?F" and it will tell you.

Thanks, adding this to the to do list.
It does those for volume but not for distance, good point.
