I'm in Montana. :coldbanana: I found this forum when I was doing web searches for information on the Suntuf, Suntop and Palruf panels for greenhouses and deck roofing. I am a single 45 year old woman who tries to do some maintenance and fix up around the house. Sometimes I get in over my head! I've bought a fixer-upper because it seemed like a good place for dogs, because of the location and the landscaping and the amount of land but the house is kind of a bummer. Everything is falling apart. There's a lot more work than I bargained for and the house inspector didn't find the half of it. Anyway, here I am and glad to have found some good sources of information. Love the emoticons!

Welcome and best of luck. I do restoration work, and I know how much gruntage is involved in old houses. (re-plastering.... *shudder*) :2725:

I like SunTuf roofing, personally. I re-did an entire greenhouse roof in it about three years ago, and the new owners of the house are still very happy with it. We use it here in Ecuador as skylight material for houses and decks, and it stands up to our torrential wet seasons quite well.

Welcome Robin, I feel your pain with the fixer-upper. We bought one as well and the entire place had to be redone from the slab up to the roof! But we do renovatoins for a living. I wish you luck and hope that everything turns out well for you.

This is a great source for information and to trade knowledge! Definately stick around a while. It'll be nice having a new face around!

Thanks for the warm welcomes!

I have a twenty-years-ago version of the Suntuf or Palruf. It has the Palruf wavy support system. I'd save money by going with one of the others, maybe, since I could reuse the supports. However, I am thinking I will be happier with Suntuf's properties and looks.

Roofers are here. Its very noisy right now, lol.
