Last year my wife and I started with our first bananas. We dug some up from my parents in Florida.
I have about 150 pounds worth of corms and 5 plants that I potted and brought inside over the winter.
I am guessing that we might have another cold snap so I am still not yet moving the plants outside but can the corms go in the ground yet?
If we get a quick freeze will it kill them? I dont know exactly what they are but I do know that they produce fruit. Is it time yet or do I need to wait until April?

There's no point in planting them now. You gain absolutely no advantage whatsoever, as roots won't grow until the soil warms up. It could stress them also: Being subjected to cold temperatures (assuming that there will be some cold weather left!) and wet soil isn't good. You could start them in pots inside however, and get them rooting before you plant them.
