Thank you for the add. New to banana growing and looking forward to learning new things and making some friends along the way. Been living in North Carolina for 8yrs now. And can't wait to turn my backyard into a tropical retreat:08:

Welcome to the Banana Express. :nanerwaveytrain:
I'm in Charlotte. What part of the state are you hiding in? Several Tarheelers onboard here.

Just north of you I'm In the Mooresville . I was looking at se of your photos . Am I correct that you had a dwarf ice cream? I am really interested in growing a banana or two that can produce tastey fruit

I don't have any fruiters; all mine are basjoos. There's a guy in MV off of Langtree that has a yard full of nanners. Last year, one of them started to finger before the frost finally killed it back.
I'm into bananas for ornamental purposes only; can't stand the fruit, LOL. I'm all around the lake, and the new landscaping themes are subtropical and nautical, so I brought it to CLT. Last year, I was able to get a bunch of yucca aloifolia from the big patch growing between 77 and the lake, to mix in with my bananas, palms and other yuccas.
