'Tuu Ghia'
Is it reasonably cold hardy I mean as comparable to the Icecream? Or is it super sensitive to dips in temperature? IT sounds very interesting, just another variety that sounds delish. I read this on it, is it true?
"This Vietnamese variety bears long, thin, unusually curved bananas. This vigorous and productive plant has outstanding and unique flavor reminiscent of "Starburst" fruit chew candies."

From what i know about this musa, it is not cold hardy. Its a zone 9 and higher banana. Even at zone 9 it can be iffy. But your zone 9 so you never know till you try. The p-stem will need some protection when the temps dip below 45F.

I see, thank you for that info. I wish when they'd put information on bananas they would specify tenderness. Thank you Steel for the answer.

Huh Ebay? Um no I found the description at a Greenhouse that was selling them and that was their description but they gave no indicator of hardiness. And thank you as well Pit.
