Hi, everyone!
I've had an indoor banana plant for a couple of months, which seemed to do very well at first, but has recently stopped growing in height, which has caused the new leafs to not being able to come up enough and spread out normally. One baby plant that grew beside the mother plant has also died.
Picture on how it looks now:

As you see, all leafs are on the same height since the plant doesn't grow.
It stands right next to a window, so lack of light is probably not the problem. The temperature is about 75.2 F, and I guess that the humidity is at least 50% since it also stands right next to an open aquarium.
Do anyone have any clue to what the problem might be?

I had this problem
I solved it by fertilising and repotting to give it more room to grow

Thanks for the reply! I'll try the same then and see if it helps :)
Yeah, it looks like it needs fert to me too.
She looks cramped to me. Bananas, if given the chance, will fill huge pots with roots and beg for more space. Why? Because they want the freedom that planting outside in good soil affords them. Since it seems your lady will not have that opportunity, give her as much room (biggest pot) you and your space can handle. And make sure she's not hungry.

Thanks for your opinions.
I'll both replant it and start giving it fertilizer as soon as possible, and hope that it starts to grow normally again. Then I'll just have to try and figure out what type of banana plant it is :)

Great name you chose there .....
Your plant will benefit from being outdoors...
Generally a greenhouse plant will start to decline in health when you bring it home and try to grow it.
Usually in about 60-90-days.
There is no such thing as an indoor banana plant. I know sorry.....Advertising hype to sell you the plant
If you purchased the plant 60 days ago then your plant is just showing its displeasure of being indoors...your plant will not grow well indoors and will need to go outside.
Do all the cool stuff in the previous posts and move the plant outside for the summer......you will see a remarkable change.

Has the plant improved?
