This is a BIG shipment I just received from MediaHound!!!! He included lots of extras, including upgrading my shipping to priority! I bought received corms of: Jamaican Red, Orinoco, Manzano, Williams Hybrid, and Saba.
The Orinoco has OVER 8 PUPS/EYES (that I could count!).
He also sent me a rare Aloe from Isreal (he wasn't sure of the variety), an purple sugarcane , and an Alocasia odora!!!! Thanks so much Jarred!!!!
Guess you guys know what I'm going to go do right now!!!!!! :0489:
I'll take pictures of the potted corms to post later today or tomorrow!!!! We'll see, I received a shipment of 14 seeds (and two extras added to that package as well!!!!) of other plants, so I have a busy afternoon ahead of me!!!!

I also just received an order from Jarred at rare bananas and was tickled pink. He was most courteous and answered all my questions and my order was delivered in two days, carefully packaged with full size plants, not small corms that other sellers send. I will most certainly order from him again and recommend Jarred and his site highly.:bananarow::bananarow:

Okay guys, JUST posted the pics of my planting today. You can check out the detailed pics of me seperating the pups off of the Orinoco Corm.

Jarred, I do have two questions for you though I forgot to ask you today (or anyone else can put their input as well!). I went to my nursery and asked them what they would recommend for fertilizer on my banana trees and they told me to just use a general 6-6-6 on them. What do you think of this? I did not ad anything as of yet. And what about just sprinkling a little of those on the corms. Second question I have is do you think I should slice off the top of the Jamaican Red? Thank you again so much. I had so much fun seperating the pups and planting all of the corms!!!! :colorwoot:
Here's a picture of my final planting in pots until their root structure had recovered and the scare of a freeze warnings are 100% gone in a month. Geesh, I moved to FL to get away from the cold!!!

ALL of my new plants planted. The front three on the bottom right are Dward PR bananas that were pups off of a pot I had bought at Rockledge Gardens. They were in the 10 gal pot together (already split) and I seperated them and gave each their own pot.

Nah I wouldn't cut the Jamaican Red back, it'll start growing just fine from there. It's a sword pup and it was able to fit in the box without cutting it back. The rest were more like 6' or 8' plants that needed to be whacked down for shipping. You'll see new growth come from that tip soon, first it'll put out roots so it'll seem dormant for a little bit. Great pics and thanks for sharing and thanks for the kind words. Glad you like the plants and I'm really happy for you! You got some awesome kinds!

I only cut the top of one of our corms from Jarred.
Started to rot some on top, cut just enough to get back into good flesh!
