Finally after 3 years on the ground my Angel Red Pomegranate is flowering for the first time!...You can see the Pomegranate buds (small developing fruits) in the pictures!...Nice and beautiful pomegranate tree!.....

From the internet: (Willis Orchard Co.)

"The Angel Red Pomegranate is a new variety with some unique qualities that make it the very "best" pomegranate in the world. The Angel Red Pomegranate matures in early September, bears heavy crops, has soft seeds that can be chewed and eaten, and has a vivid red color. This pomegranate tree also has the highest juice content per fruit. The high juice content is awesome but the really great attribute, for those who like eating fresh pomegranates, is that you no longer have to spit the seeds because the seeds are soft enough to be eaten along with the pulp, which makes the whole experience of eating a pomegranate even greater!"....

I hope you get a lot of pomegranate fruit. Maybe a taste report in September?

I spy a double row of razor wire fence and electrified string trimmer wire and a soccer ball in the photo along with your plant.

That is some pretty heavy security for such tasty fruit...:nanadrink:

cincinnana,

......LOL.....Don't forget the two "highly trained" property guardians (Rottweiler-Pitbull mix dogs) add up to the security mix!.....:ha:

Your tree has such a nice growth pattern compared to mine. Mine is about 3 years old and is multi ed steamed and looks like a bush.

Please post of pic of when you harvest. Mine makes small fruits. But I never know when to pick the. Its either to late or to early.

An update of my Angel Red Pomegranate....

The tree has been growing new branches and leaves....Also some of the fruits are bigger in size than a golf ball!...Despite the odds for pomegranates to grow in Florida, this variety of pomegranate looks promising!....Has been growing/progressing well, down here, in South Florida!....Hopefully, it will keep doing great!....
