I tried to upload pics but it seems I have reached my limit and I hate deleting photos and making blank spots on all my posts. I stored Thai Black this year bare root just like Orinoco and it stored very well. Zebrina stored surprisingly well with stems intact, but I wrapped the root ball of those with plastic.

You can upload your photos to photobucket or flickr then insert the links.

I would say it stores as well as Orinoco.

Zebrina stems were a little watery in places and they continued to grow under the house so the stems are at a weird angle, but I just potted them straight. The pstems made it though, and started pushing growth immediately so this tells me they did not really go dormant completely. I dont they they would make it though without a wrapped root ball.

Siege2050..can you explain what you do for the wrapped root ball? Does this vary with different species you store. Long ways off for next years winterizing..but trying to get an idea of what I will need to do. I do not have a crawl space...mine will be winterized in my garage that I will keep around 45-50. Thanks.
