hi guys

all my space is full of seeds but i got some room in my toilet which is constantly 25 C' .

which species germinates reliable at this temperature ?
the heat pipes in the floor warm the floor causing a constant temp of 25 C'
so i got a little bit of floor heating/warming.
i don't like ensete species, they suck and won't germinate.

which species germinates at a constant 25C'?
the species i want to try are balbisiana and velutina
what is their common germination rate, i only buy 100 seeds of a type ?
how cold tolerant are these species, i live in the netherlands ( holland )

greetings!

At constant temp your best bet is some type of ensete. I've had a couple of velutinas germinate in room temp too but you get much better germination rates for musas if you provide varying temperatures.

I agree with rane. Constant temps just don't work very well at all for germinating Musa species, but are fine for Ensete. Try E. glaucum or E. ventricosum. They are the easiest Ensete species to germinate.
