The closest I can tell you on the name is Musa Acuminata Super Cavendish Dwarf. Grow them like most of the rest, lots of sun and lots of water. Last year was my first year for one and it did well. Mine got about 2' tall and should max out around 3-4'. Yes it will fruit, tiny little sweet bananas, and they are edible. Hopefully mine will flower this year. I don't have any tips except that mine seemed to get bound up with all those leaves and such a small pseudo-stem, so you might trim back some of the outside layers of trunk as it ages. Good luck -Nate:nanawhopp:

The Musa acuminata part should be left off and not used, and normally its 'Super Dwarf Cavendish', because its not a super Cavendish in any way, its just more dwarf than the regular dwarf, so its called 'Super Dwarf'. The most scientifically correct way to write it would be something along the lines of Musa (AAA) 'Super Dwarf Cavendish', but for all practical reasons Musa 'Super Dwarf Cavendish' is just fine, or just 'Super Dwarf' as we all know what that means, or if you are posting in the forums, SDC seems to be a fairly popular acronym as well.
