Hello everyone,
Just moved to South Carolina from NY and my dwarf Cavendish couldn't be happier. I had to transport it in a packed car. It's a two year old plant. It was a tough call, but I cut it about three inches above the soil removed most of the dirt and put into a plastic bag. A week after I arrived I planted it in soil.
Three weeks of growth is amazing!! I am excited to be living in coastal SC and can't wait to aquire more bananas and other tropical plants. Not new to gardening, but new to banana plants.:woohoonaner:
