Sorry to say that Musa basjoo rubra isn't hardy at all. Looks like some nice plants on that site though.

Looks like they are about $15US, but I have yet to see any M. basjoo "Rubra" that I believe to be a true red form of M. basjoo. Its not that it might not exist, but all of the ones I have seen just do not look anything like M. basjoo, and instead look exactly like other types of common banana. The one at this store obviously has lots of wax, no petiole wings, and was found in a batch of tissue cultures, its not unheard of to mix up plants, especially when they are that small (in culture) they generally all look the same.

I heard(UK Oasis) it got mixed up with another batch of TC'd plants.
Also goes by the name Musa 'Parthens Red'.

I have a few of these plants and like you said they are no where near hardy.
They are becoming more popular over here now due to the Larger stores like B & Q and Homebase selling them cheaper. They do have a white chalky bloom on the underside of the leaf. The only thing they have in common with Basjoo is they send up quite a few pups.
As for the link to Amulree like most of the bananas they are out of stock
