I LOVE this site and all the people who are members!......... REALLY!!
Iam constantly reminded that you-ALL are folks i would love to know!
By your post, pictures, advice; this happens everytime i read a post or thread and look at your pictures of your plants at your homes.
Everytime you show a pic', or write a post or thread your showing yourselves to ME and others. And I love it when ya'll show off!
I feel fortunate to be able to correspond with people on the other side of the world!!!! Flying Dutchman your in Holland! Holland! for gods sake! Islandcassie in a tropical isle! OHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhh. Logos in puerto rico! Cant get to much better than this!
Ive been to more UK and canadian sites than you can shake a tailfeather at. And my United States---Has never failed ME!!!!!!
Since July 2007 when i became a member, ive grown.ive learned,put forth a 100%effort in the growing of my plants and the environment,started composting, joined the civics community and classes, educated my family on bananas and the environment, researched, experimented, read something other than books for pleasure.Umph Umph Umph.
Ive thought about this site when i take a walk by myself!
Ive stood in the rain and thought about this site and my nannas!
When iam having a lovely day, ive thought about ya'll!
When i look out at the winter sky i have thought about you all!
There's a special element here. Its about bananas, but there is an emotional factor here!!!!! Cant you feel it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH, I have a life! Believe that!
But some things ive seen here and learned have shot my rocket to the moon!
Late this summer when i looked at my bananas,...." What i experience was as close to paradise as i can get in this human form! Because of you.

I meant no offense, just an observation...
What'd you do with your time before bananas? Mine was gardening, trucking, and motorcycling (the last 2 keep me from my gardening).

no offense was taken, i thought it was a hoot. lol lol lol.hoot hoot! i have a full cdl w/ tx endorsement. i am a full time college student.( wish the 14 would hurry up and get here! new semester) i garden,and i compost.i read lots of books( im a book nerd. somebody says library sale, im there days early) now im a tropical plant and nana geek. oh and a soon to be grammie. i have my 2 dogs, my daughters dog, and now my sisters dog. 7 cats in the house, 4 cat out the house, 2 cockatils, and 3 fish in a 75 gallon aqua.12 nana trees,11 tropical elep. ears, 7 hybred cannas 7 trays of seeds 7 pots of snake plant and many many more, oh and one pineapple plant in a pot. i could charge admission to my zoo. now all i need is a monkey to hang in my nana trees. lol:ukkibannana: :ukkibannana: :ukkibannana: :ukkibannana:. when school starts again i will have about 6 hrs. of homework a nite.(theres 15 credit hrs this semester) and im looking for a partime job. and i think i have logged almost 200 hrs researching nanas and palm trees. i didnt know that there were so many till i started looking. so in my spare time, ha ha, i visit here as much as i can, sleep,play with the petting zoo, and maybe remember to eat. and school hasnt started yet. and my mom wonders why im tired all the time. lol

I just became a grandpa last September. Congrats to you. Study hard. We'll be 'rooting' for you! lol :08: I still carry my CDL with combination vehicle/air brake/tanker/double/triples endorsements, but I dropped the Hazmat endorsement as I never used it, and it was gonna cost me $100 for the TSA background check to retain it.
We've got only 2 cats and 20 nanners. Are you interested in more cannas? I have 4 kinds including a dwarf variety and William Shatner.
These winds are kicking my a**!! I've had my patio roof support tubes buckle under the wind, and now the panels are starting to come off...It's gonna be a looooong morning!

i love cannas. the ones i have i got from tophersmith. the are doing awsome. 6 of them are6-9 inches high. i have one that is little yet. i a few weeks will have to move them to their own pots. i still have my hazmat,dou/ trip/ tanker, all that stuff. i dont know if ill be able to drive any more i screwed up my clutch knee last may. i do get the urge to jump back in a dump evertime i see a pretty pete though.. hopefully you wont have to much trouble with your patio roof. the wind here isnt bad its just bone chilly. ive had my cdl since 93 and i love it. i just live in a small town where its odd to see women do anything here but sweep the front porch, shop, do the girl things, and have 15 kids that their screaming at. lol. it tookme almost an hour to water everthing in the nana room yesterday. thats a job in itself.i think its worth it though.

Not only are the people great, but the software interface is perhaps the best I've seen.
One tweak you might consider is the length of the control bar:
User CP Photo Gallery Today's Photos ...
By shortening a few of these titles, the whole thing could match the width of the adjacent display areas and not overflow off the right of the screen.
Some suggestions:
Photo Gallery --> Gallery
Bananas Wiki --> Wiki
Chatroom --> Chat
Members List --> Members
That ought to do it!

Richard,
perhaps you have a screen resolution or forum display issue, mine lines up fine.

Wow, I wish mine looked like that. I'll check out my Internet Explorer settings. Maybe Bill Gates thinks it just looks better that way ...

My control bar also extends out too far...
Any one know how to fix that? Everything else lines up correctly.

I will remove some of the links from the navbar so its not so wide for those with lower resolutions, thanks for the feedback.

I can read everyone's posts without having to scroll over but I do have to scroll over when I want to log out. For some reason, mine doesn't fit the screen perfectly either. Is there a way to change the settings on our computers to fix it?

Daily posts link is still available, its inside the "Quick Links" fold-out menu.
Next to the "New Posts (http://www.bananas.org/search.php?do=getnew)" link you will see the "Quick Links" menu. It's called "Today's Posts (http://www.bananas.org/search.php?do=getdaily)"
