I'm having trouble adding my name to the area of the Wiki entitled "Members Growing this Plant". I've done it before, but for some reason I can't get it to work now. Could someone give me a breif description of how to do that?

Thanks and sorry for being a bonehead!

There is no handy way to do it.

You have to put the following link in the section "members growing this Banana".

26.063414912034293, -80.25358263521576, [[User:MediaHound]]

You have to change the longitude and lattitude.
U can find in it your profile if you have pinned yourself on the map.

Here is also an earlier post from jarred about thee same subject.

I am actually working on making this easier, please know that its going to get a lot easier!

Hopefully as easy as clicking a button!

Once we get your latitude and longitude coordinates in the database from the member map (http://www.bananas.org/vbgooglemapme.php), in theory, it should be something that can be programmed into the site.

Good things to come, trust me!
I know its not easy the way it is now, but its better than nothing, and I'm working on making it better. I actually have been working on this already this week!

If anybody reading this has not yet filled out the member map, please do it now!

Thanks, Jarred, you the man! If you're working on making it easier, then I guess I'll wait for that before I try to update what all I'm growing. I know I speak for all of us when I say we really appreciate all you do for us and the website.

Merry Christmas! :0521:

Nothing to report back yet, the holidays were a busy time of year. Hopefully we'll see it completed soon.

I'm still totally lost on how to update the wiki with what species I'm growing. Any help?

Stumpy, you can use this:
35.9935632, -86.67363167, I think I can see the bananas from here [[User:stumpy4700]]

We are making progress each day on making this easier to add yourself to the maps in the wiki, its quite tricky to bridge all these modules but we are making progress... basically every day it gets worked on... thats the good news :)

Thanks, Jarred, and all the other moderators. You know, some things I catch onto really quickly, but I just can't seem to get this one!
