Hi!
I live in Arizona. I had grown bananas before when I lived in Chicago. I had one from New Orleans and grow them also from seed. Here I have started again to collect them and have just two unnamde ones. I'm hoping to get more but most likely will have to wait till the spring. Here were I live I will have to bring them inside. We get below 32 degrees here in the winter. If anyone has any to trade. I have some plants I could trade for. I'm hoping to learn a lot more.
Thanks,
kyleaz

Wazzup Kyle!...
What zone are you in? 8b maybe? anyway there are several banana varieties that could be left outside with minimal protection in zone 8a/8b... leaving them out may put a damper on getting fruit though...

Hi everyone and thatk you for the welcome. I live out side of Phoenix up in the foothills in a little town called C ave Creek. It's npot as warm as Phoenix. I would say a good 10 degrees colder. I still haven't figured out what zone we are in. Our ground doesn't freeze really but it does get below 32 for a few hours. My husband says that it's gotten a bit below 30 a few times. In the summer we cook! This summer was one of the hottest on record. We had days of over 110 degrees,
I just have 2 no name bananas now. I grow plumeria and have started collectiong brugmansia or angle trumpets.I will gladly trade some plumeria seeds or seedlings for some bananas. I think I have alot of room to bring in all the plants and I have a small green house but it's pack to the gills with plants and my DH's tomatoes.
