Hello, and thanks in advance.
I am in need of some technical information on musa leaf tissue nutrient analysis parameters, or extracted leaf sap nutrient level averages in (ppm)
I spoke with Agri-Starts any they couldn't help me. So I'm hoping someone on this board could point me in the right direction. It would be greatly appreciated.

Also, here is some very good technical research on understanding musa root development. It's a pdf 2.7 mb download, and full of musa info.

I found what I was looking for (it wasn't easy) a very nice professor in Hawaii was able to help me. If you monitor plant health with a lab test, here's the info.

Musa leaf tissue nutrient specs:
nitrogen 2.4 -3.0 %
phosphorus 0.25 -0.24 %
potassium 2.7 - 3.5 %
calcium 0.4 - 1.0 %
magnesium 0.20 - 0.36 %
manganese 25 - 150 ppm
zinc 15 - 18 ppm
iron 60 - 80 ppm
copper 5 - 9 ppm
boron 11 ppm

i checked some of my notes on some trials i did around 10 years ago using an improved dwarf cavendish cultivar. here are the nutrient levels of our plants - all grown under organic conditions using only horse manure

these are mean values of 150 plants:
N - 3.3%
P - .23%
K - 3.0%
Ca - 1.4% a tad high but no symptoms of any toxicity or Mg & K deficiency
Mg - .40%
Cu - 11.8 ppm
Fe - 184 ppm some might think this high but no symptoms of toxicity were noted
Mn - 229 ppm same as for iron
Zn - 24.3
