If you have several plants of the same variety and you want to plant them together, how far apart would you plant them? If you put them say 1-2 feet apart, will the 2 separate corms eventually crowd each other or is this something to NOT even worry about?
Thanks - Terry

I think the min. distance between them should be the radius of the leaf spread....uh, I mean, how ever long the longest adult leaf is plus how ever long the longest adult leaf is on the other one.. So they are not in comp for sun. I had 3 DC's about 2' apart, and that was cool, until they grew a little, and the one in the middle was a little taller, and shaded the other 2, and they did not do as well. Then again I'm new at this, but that's what made sense and what I did. They seem much happier now, even after transplanting them.

Right as stated.Try not to overlap much of the leaves of the plants growing side by side.Leave them abit of space depending on the "span" of the adult leaves.
