I started noticing some white streaks on part of each new leaf a couple of months back. Each new leaf seems to be showing more and more white on it. I don't have a picture of the newest leaf yet, but can take one tomorrow. These pictures were taken on October 1st. Chlorosis is usually linked to BSV, which I can't comprehend how a tissue cultured ensete in the U.S. could get. I've kept it fertilized pretty regularly also, so I don't think chlorosis is the problem, but I'm sure I could be wrong.

Not very good pictures, I know. The "variegation" seems to be taking place on one side or the other of the midrib, not usually both, with the last picture being an exception. I'll get a picture of the newest leaf tomorrow.

I don't know anything about it being cholortic but I do have some new Misi Luki that seem to have a bit of variegation too, I took it this was just normal and would go away once the plant got growing real good for me.

Here's a picture of the newest open leaf, showing variegation (or chlorosis?) in the bottom right quadrant of the leaf. On this leaf, it is only on one side of the midrib.

Yes, I see what you mean on that new leaf. It does look like it is variegated, looks as nice as the pearls do. I hope it turns out to be variegated for you.
