I saw this blooming at a nursery without a label. Is this M.ornata?

Yep. Was that in Mexico? I hear that Musa ornata is so populous there that people actually think that it's native.

Raules- not sure, maybe someone knows.
Bigdog- Yep it was in Mexico, near Puerto Vallarta. I saw what could have been it in places, but not many blooms. Heliconias seemed more common than ornamental bananas, but not if I lived there.
